We organise ourselves into nine
Streams

Construction and the built environment
Who we are
The construction and built environment stream address an urgent need to alleviate environmental impacts arising from this stream to create resilient and low carbon environments. The stream considers the full life cycle of the built environment from design, construction, operation and maintenance to end of life. The stream focuses on extending the life of existing built environment assets, rather than creating new; considers resource use downstream to support multiple life cycles of building materials; and examines opportunities to reduce overall environmental impacts through good design and encompassing technology such as digital applications. The vision is to ultimately use buildings and existing assets as material banks rather than use virgin materials.

Education
Who we are
The education stream focusses on efforts to impactfully accelerate the transition of circular economy in the education sector. The stream explores circular economy education at schools, colleges, and tertiary education institutions. It also connects with industries, governments, and other public sector organizations to understand how individuals and organisations learn and apply their learnings to drive the circular economy transition. Overall, the education stream seeks to understand the current state of the circular economy landscape and enhance circular economy education and learnings in the Asia-Pacific region.

Food and Organics
Who we are
The Food and Organics stream aims to accelerate circular economy adoption within food and organics. It focuses on developing evidence-based strategies and policies to overcome barriers, optimise resource utilisation, and reduce food loss and waste in food supply chain. Through stakeholder collaboration, the food and organics stream works to reshape conventional practices and drive system transformations using a scientific approach guided by the 10Rs of circularity. Additionally, the food and organics stream leverages innovative technologies and processes to implement circular approaches that enhance system resilience, improve competitiveness, and promote a greener economy.

Manufacturing
Who we are
The Manufacturing stream seeks to promote circular economy principles in the manufacturing sector in the Asia-Pacific region. The current linear economic model is not completely aligned with sustainability principles. As an emerging paradigm, circular economy targets to minimise resource consumption by focusing on restorative and regenerative manufacturing, which aims to compensate for the weaknesses of linear transformation.
